Meet Number 3: The Cocktail That Breaks Every Rule
Share
Every cocktail lineup needs a wild card. For Deko Cocktails, that is Number 3.
Cucumber vodka. Citrus. Elderflower. Habanero. On paper, it should not work. In your glass, rated 90 points by Wine Enthusiast, it works brilliantly.
The Story Behind the Name
Number 3 was the third cocktail developed by Deko Cocktails founders Ushi Shafran, Michael Handman, and Dan Rabinowitz. After perfecting the Bee’s Knees and the Gold Rush, they wanted something that pushed boundaries.
The result is a cocktail that defies easy categorization. It is its own thing entirely.
Cool Meets Heat
The cucumber vodka base delivers clean, spa-like coolness. Elderflower adds delicate floral sweetness. The citrus brightens everything.
And then comes the habanero. Not a face-melting blast of heat. A slow, warm finish that arrives after the cool and floral flavors have already charmed you. At 21% ABV, Number 3 is the strongest in the Deko Cocktails lineup.
Who Number 3 Is For
It is for the adventurous drinker. The person who orders the most interesting thing on the menu. The host who wants to spark a conversation.
How to Serve It
Pour over ice in a rocks glass. A thin cucumber slice as garnish reinforces the fresh element. For the daring, serve alongside something salty — chips and guacamole or sushi.
